1.      The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Health (MoH) procured and installed Solar systems and vaccine fridges in a number of Health Centre (HC) II, III & IV

 

2.      In order to maintain the solar PV systems and fridges to keep them in good maintenance condition, the MoH has set aside funds towards the cost of servicing, supply of spare parts and repair of 334 solar PV systems installed in 110 Health Centres in the Districts Kabale, Mityana, Mubende and Kibaale. 

3.      To carry out the servicing of the solar systems, the MoH intends to sign service/maintenance 2 (two) year framework contract.  This will be done in 3 lots as detailed below:

a)      Lot 1:  41 Health Centres (6HCIV, 13HCIII & 22HCII) in Kabale District

b)      Lot 2:  38 Health Centres (2HCIV, 18HCIII & 18HCII) in Mityana and Mubende Districts

c)      Lot 3:  31 Health Centres (2HCIV, 16HCIII & 13HCII) in Kibaale District

 

4.      MOH invites your bids for maintenance of solar PV systems, supply solar equipment and accessories on a two years Framework Contract basis.

 

5.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all eligible bidders.

 

6.       Interested Firms may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at address below 10(a) between 9:00am to 4:00pm on Official working days.
