Mercy Corps is an International NGO that exists to alleviate suffering , poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, protective and just communities. Mercy Corps is fully registered as an NGO and has been operating in Uganda since 2006.

Mercy Corps Uganda has recently been awarded a five years USAID funded activity to be implemented in the eastern Districts of Karamoja sub-region of Uganda i.e; Kotido, Kaabong, Moroto and Amudat. It will cover programmatic areas including : Food Security and Livelihoods, WASH and small scale infrastructure . The activity will operates in accordance with US Government Environmental Regulations and Guidance, including Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Environmental Status report (ESR), Safe Users Action Plan (SUAP), AND EMMP (Environmental Management and Mitigation Plan) among others. In this context Mercy Corps Uganda is inviting interested parties to apply for the following Tender Opportunity to ensure provision of “Environmental Consulting Services for Mercy Corps USAID activities in Karamoja”
