Section 51 (1) of Insurance Act (Cap 213), Laws of Uganda, requires the accounts of insurers not audited by the Auditor General to be audited by Auditors approved by the Authority.
In line with the aforementioned statutory requirement, the Authority wishes to up-date a list of Auditors approved to audit insurance players’ accounts. This list will be reviewed every year. Therefore, the Authority invites auditors who are members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU), with sound standing in the market and are interested in auditing insurance players’ accounts, for the year 2018, to furnish it with the following:
