Oyam District Local Government has received funds from GOU and donor Agencies and intends to use proceeds for provision of Works, Supplies and Services in FY 2017/2018. Oyam district Local Government now invites interested, eligible and competent bidders to apply and submit sealed bids for the Low Cost Sealing of1.6km (section5) Alidi – Awangi Road.

The bidding is open to all eligible and interested bidders and shall be conducted according to Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act 2003 and Local Governments (PPDA) Regulations, 2006.

The prequalified bidders for FY 2017/2018 are also invited to view and apply for shortlisted projects under Selective Bidding method on Procurement and Disposal Unit Notice Board in Health Department, Oyam DHQRs and apply accordingly.

The bidders are required to pay non refundable fee of Ushs. 100,000/= (one hundred thousand shillings only) for projects under Open Domestic Bidding method and Ushs. 50,000/= (fifty thousand shillings only) for projects under selective bidding payable to DFCU Bank, Lira Branch Account title Oyam District Local Government General Fund Account No. 01983501002597.\

The Bids shall be inspected and issued from Procurement and Disposal Unit-Oyam from 8.30am to5.00pm working days. The bids shall be addressed and hand delivered to Head, Procurement and Disposal Unit, Oyam. The bids shall close on Monday 8th January, 2018 at 12:00 Noon. The bids shall be open on Monday 8th January, 2018 at 12.30pm in the PDU, Health Department in the presence of bidders or their representatives choose to attend.

 No liability will be accepted by the entity for loss or late delivery of bids. The entity is not bound to accept the highest or then lowest bid. The Reservation scheme shall apply to promote and enhance Build Uganda and Buy Uganda policy
