TOTAL E&P, UGANDA in as capacity as Operator of EA-1 and EA-1A, and on behalf of EA.2N Operator TULLOW UGANDA OPERATIONS PTY LTD, requires the services of experienced and reputable contractors to provide hazardous waste management services in respect of the development of the Tilenga Project (EA-1, EA-1A and EA-2N) Lake Albert Basin, Republic of Uganda.

The description of services required for hazardous waste management for the whole duration of the project development phase is summarized below:

• Development of a waste management plan;

• Provision of experienced staff for supervision of waste management operations;

• Provision of appropriate tracking and reporting system for the collection,transportation, treatment and disposal of waste;

• Provision of approved and licensed logistics solution with suitable vehicles for transportation and containment of wastes;

• Provision and management of on-site waste collection points and waste storage areas suitable for the storage, containment, and segregation of waste;

• Provision of on-she waste reduction techniques;

• Provision of suitable waste containers for segregation and storage without contamination;

• Provision of awareness and training to on-sire personnel;

• Provision of suitable equipment to weigh/gauge waste quantities handled;

• Provision of treatment and disposal services at Government approved treatment and disposal sites for various project hazardous wastes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PREQUALIFICATION PROCESS:

• At least five years' experience providing similar services within Uganda, East African region and/ or internationally;

• Suitably qualified and experienced personnel;

• Demonstrated operational capacity to provide services defined above;

• EOls from suitable partnerships and consortiums/ventures for the provision of the required services are encouraged. Preference shall be given to suitably qualified in-count, registered entities demonstrating commitment to statutory National Content requirements for oil and gas operations; • Financial capacity to deliver the services required;

• Current registration to; or application to be registered to; the National Supplier Database for the year 2018;

• Possess appropriate licensing from relevant in-country Authorities for the provision of the above defined services.
