Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor – Uganda) is a comprehensive HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment non Government Organization supporting the needs of HIV infected Children and their families. Baylor – Uganda intends to shortlist suppliers of goods, services and works for the period 2018/2020 for the following categories of goods, services and works.

Prequalification is open to all legally registered companies in Uganda. The minimum requirement for prequalification will be based on but not limited to the following below:
(a) A minimum of two years in business for goods and services and three years for works.
(b) Copies of previous contracts /orders from at least NGO/USADI/ CDC funded projects or other reputable organizations.
(c) Tax clearance certificates
(d) Certificate of incorporation.
(e) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Unit at the address below.
(f) The pre – qualification bid document in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non – refundable fee of Ugx.100,000/= (Uganda shillings one hundred thousand only).
(g) The method of payment will be cash payable to our bank Account indicated below NAME: Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation-Uganda A/CCOUNT: 0341194016 BANK BARCLAYS BANK BRANCH: Kampala Road
(h) Bidders will be required to present a copy of the payment receipt as proof of payment before they can be issued with the bid document. The bid document must be accompanied by a copy of the payment receipt. The receipt shall be issued from our head office at cash office.
(i) Bidders should not apply for more than two items in one category. A bidder shall be required to pay for a separate bid document if applying for any other item in another category.
(j) A bidder shall not present more than one company to be considered for short listing.
(k) The envelope should be properly sealed and marked “pre – qualification for provision of (nature of business) “2018/2020†to the address below.
(l) The pre – qualification submission deadline is 3pm on 2nd February 2018.
(m)Baylor-Uganda reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Late bids shall not be received.
