Supply of 03 double cabin pick-up vehicles

The Government of Uganda received a loan from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and a Grant from the Adaptation for Smallholder Agriculture Programme (ASAP) to co-finance the Project for the Restoration of Livelihoods in the Northern Region (PRELNOR) in the districts of the Acholi Sub Region and as well as Adjumani. Part of the proceeds of this loan is to be utilized for the procurement of 03 Double Cabin Pick-up Vehicles for 02 DFAs and 01 AMTS Service provider.
Therefore, the Ministry of Local Government now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of 03 Double Cabin Pickup Vehicles.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding (ODB) of the World Bank procurement procedures.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Ag. Head of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Ministry of Local Government during working hours. Information will also be published on the UN Business Development/dg market website (www.devbusiness.com)
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be by cash payment to the Bank account of the Uganda Revenue Authority (U.). The banking slips that be presented to the PDU of MoLG and upon which bidders will be issued the bidding documents.
Bidding documents must be inspected and bids delivered to The Head, Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU) Ministry of Local Government, 06" Floor, Southern Wing, Workers House, by 16th March, 2018 at 12:00Noon.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 5,000,000 (Five Million Uganda Shillings) in the form of a Bank Guarantee from a reputable Bank strictly in accordance with the sample attached on page 107.
Bids shall remain valid up to 26. August, 2018.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who may choose to attend at 12:10pm 16^ March 2018 at the MoLG PDU Office.
