  1. Kampala Capital City Authority has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Upgrading of roads and junctions to improve mobility in Kampala Batch 2A

Upgrading to Paved standard of Kulambiro Ring Road (4.82Km) including Spur to Najjera Road (0.7 Km) and ii. Reconstruction & Dualling of Nakawa-Ntinda Road (2.80Km) (including signalization of four junctions) and iii.   2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open International Bidding(OIB) method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from - .
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 500,000 UGX. The method of payment will be With payment advise from obtained from KCCA PDU
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Tuesday, 10 Apr, 2018 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 10/04/2018
  7. There shall be a pre - bid meeting on 14/03/2018

    The Government of Uganda has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Second Kampala Institutional and Development Infrastructure Development Project (KIIDP 2) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Upgrading of Roads and Junctions to Improve Mobility in Kampala – Batch 2.Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011 revised July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. The following are the minimum qualification criteria; 2 (two) contracts, each of minimum value as follows: (i) Lot 1: US$ 25 million, (ii) Lot 2: US$ 16 million, and (iii) Lot 3: US$ 15 million among others. Details of the other qualification requirements are included in the Bidding document. There shall be a Pre-Bid meeting at 8:00 am on 14th March 2018 at the address below. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 am on 10th April 2018. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below.
