1. The Board of Governors (BOG) and St. Katherine Secondary School Old Girls’ Association (SKOGA) have allocated funds to be used for the construction work of a storeyed – students’ dormitory.

2. The School therefore invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above work.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No. 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm – Monday to Friday working hours.

5. A complete set of Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below in No. 8(b) and upon  payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX. 200,000 to Standbic Bank, Lira branch, A/c No. 9030006392619 in the name of St. Katherine Secondary School and thereafter get a receipt from the School Bursar.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below in No. 8(c) on or before Wednesday, 11th April, 2018 at 10:00am local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX. 2,000,000. Bids securities must be valid until 15th August, 2018. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who may choose to attend at the address below in No. 8(d) on 11th April, 2018 at 10:30am.

7. There shall be a pre – bid meeting and site visit at the School at 10:00am on the dates indicated in the proposed schedules in this notice.
