1. Purpose:

CRS seeks EOl to shortlist qualified, eligible and experienced contractors in preparation for the Bid Tender Process for the construction of Two (2) Primary Schools located in Yumbe District, Bidibidi Refugee Settlement area.

2. Objectives and Scope:

The employer (CRS) to enter a contract with pre qualified contractors to provide, construction of two (2) furnished Primary Schools located in Bidibidi Re-settlement area in Yumbe District, the project scope of work for each Primary School is in point 3 below:

3. Expected Procurement Details:

To support the implementation of the project, CRS intends to construct the following items in the table below:

1 Construction of 20 classrooms, each classroom has a approximate floor area of 50.1sq.m

 2 Construction of 20 units Teacher residence, each unit has a approximate floor area of 34sq.m  

3 Construction of 2 administration block with a approximate floor area of 79sq.m  

4 Construction of 2 Latrine block for Male (School boys)  

5 Construction of 2 latrine block for Female (School girls)  

6 Construction of 2 latrine block for teachers  

7 Construction of 2 Wash stands (with 6 taps each) to be connected to Water tanks (collecting rain water) on concrete plinth foundation  

8 Construction of Perimeter fence, path walk, drains and culvert

9 Supply of Furniture for classrooms, teachers residence and administration block  

3a.  Submission Criteria 

Contractors that meet the above requirements should submit their application along with complete supporting documents in sealed envelopes quoting reference No: YU201803001 to CRS Kampala Office before 5:00pm from Monday to Thursday and before 1:00pm on Fridays. Deadline for submission of EOI is March 16th 2018. 

4. Picking Expression of Interest Forms

 CRS invites contractors capable of providing (from section 3 above) their EOl's. In order to be considered

as a potential contractors, interested enterprises should come and pick the Eol package at CRS Office OR request it by email. The address and contact person email is below.

This call for Expression of Interest does not constitute a solicitation. We do not require proposals and prices at this stage; we merely seek your expression of interest in participating in the tender. CRS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOl and/or solicitation process. CRS also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation documents. Submitting a reply to a call for EOl does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.
