1. The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Agriculture , Animal Industry and Fisheries has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Regional Pastoral Livelihood Resilience Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Construction of Livestock Watering Infrastructure.

2. The Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

Lot No Description/District Tajar valley tank (1) in Bukedea District, Agurut valley

Lot 1 tank (1) in Kumi District, Omunga valley tank (1) in Abim District and Onganyakonye Valley Tank (1) in Amuria District Cheptere Valley Tank (1) in Kween District, Aooyalet

Lot 2 Valley tank (1) in Nakapiripirit District and Nakumama Valley Tank (1) in Napak District

Lot 3 Usake Dam (1) in Kamion Sub County, Kaabong District

Construction works shall be completed in Twelve (12) months after contract commencement date. Margin of Preference is applicable.

3. Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011 revised July 2014 ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, Head Procurement and Disposal Unit — procuremenlaagriculture.go.ug and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 09:00 Hours to 16:30 hours (local time-EAT) at the address given below.

6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below.

7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting at 9:30am on 9" April 2016 at the address below. All interested eligible bidders are encouraged to visit the sites prior to the pre-bid meeting.

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00 Hours (local time-EAT) on 27" April 2018. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 11:10 Hours (local time-EAT) on 27" April 2018.

9. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security (in UGX or the equivalent in a freely convertible Currency) of
