The International Rescue Committee, hereinafter referred to as "the IRC", is a non-profit, humanitarian agency that provides relief, rehabilitation, protection, resettlement services, and advocacy for refugees, displaced persons and victims of oppression and violent conflict. The IRC has been working in Uganda since 1998 in response to mass displacement and devastation wrought by the rebel group, the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). Since then, in partnership with various donors, the IRC in Uganda has expanded to meet the needs of the conflict-affected regions of Karamoja and Acholi, and the refugee settlements in the West Nile region, as well as amongst urban refugees in Kampala.

The IRC West Nile program invites applications from interested bidders for provision of Vehicle hire services. IRC will sign a Master Service Agreement for one (1) year with the successful bidders. All bidders who are currently engaged by IRC in this category of service are required to re-apply in order to comply with conditions stipulated in this service.

Interested and suitably qualified providers may request complete tender information from the IRC Supply Chain Department offices in, Yumbe, Plot 3, Akuma road, Yumbe Town Council; Kampala head office Plot 7, Lower Naguru East Road or at all IRC offices in Kitgum church crescent road, Moroto Plot 72, Circular road, Senior Quarters, Moroto District and, during office hours 9:00 AM — 4:00 PM from Monday, April 23, 2018 to Monday May 7, 2018.

Bidder shall submit sealed bids addressed to the PROCUREMENT COMMITTEE, at International Rescue Committee office addresses shown above latest 4:00PM (East African Standard Time) on the 7th May 2018.
