- Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Sports has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Printing, Supply and Delivery of Early Grade Reading (EGR) Learner Primers and Teachers Guides for P.4

- Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from - .
- The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 . The method of payment will be BAF
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Tuesday, 02 Apr, 2019 . Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 02/04/2019

1 The Government of the Republic of Uganda through the Ministry of Education and Sports secured funds from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) towards support to the Uganda Teacher and School Effectiveness Project and intends to apply part of the funds for Printing and Delivery of Early Grade Reading (EGR) Instructional Materials, Learner Primers and Teachers’ Guides for P.4. 2 The Ministry of Education and Sports on behalf of the Government of Uganda invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Printing and Delivery of Early Grade Reading (EGR) Learner Primers and Teachers’ Guides for P.4. 3 The EGR Primer materials will be supplied in two (2) lots. Bidders may bid for one lot or both lots in which case each lot should have a separate price schedule and each lot shall be evaluated separately 4 Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procurement method contained in the World Bank Guidelines for procurement and the procedures described under Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Regulations 6 Qualifications requirements include: The bidder shall have a financial capability evidenced by a minimum average annual turnover equivalent to the bid price within the last three (3) years, Experience of having performed at least 3 contracts of similar scope and of value to the offered services in the last 5 years supported by copies of delivery notes, goods received notes and completion certificates, Facilities and equipment required to perform the printing services and other requirements are in the bid document. 11 All bids must be accompanied with a Bid Security in form of Bank Guarantee as follows; Lot 1: UGX 38,000,000= (thirty-eight million shillings only) Lot 2: UGX 33,000,000= (thirty-three million shillings only)
